Now, you can enter information in the dialog box.
When "URL addressing" is selected
Type the domain name and port number ("123" by default) of the server.
When "IP Addressing" is selected
Type the IP address and port number ("123" by default) of the server.
The NTP server has been registered. The dialog box closes.
The firmware version of the digital video recorder is shown.
This setting is required if you use an UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
In the [Model] setting, select "Standard" from the pull-down menu.
Setting options:
None: UPS not used
Standard: UPS used
You can specify how the digital video recorder behaves if the hard disk becomes full during recording.
Setting options:
Overwrite ON:
Continues recording by overwriting data from the oldest video.
Overwrite OFF:
Stops recording with a message.
Setting options:
Overwrite ON:
Continues recording by overwriting data from the oldest video in the drive, if the backup drive becomes full.
Overwrite OFF:
Stops recording with a message, if the backup drive becomes full.
You may configure the UPS by clicking the
button in the [System] section of the [Configuration Setting] dialog box accessible from
the Shell screen.
Power Management (UPS)
The digital video recorder, when stopped in the "Overwrite OFF" mode, will resume recording if you change the setting to "Overwrite ON".
However, when recording in the "Overwrite ON" mode, the digital video recorder will stop recording with a warning message if you change the setting to "Overwrite
