Starting & Driving
• The engine hood is open.
Note: In case of low battery, automatic starting after
unexpected stalling may fail, and at this time, you
can refer to ‘Serious Battery Capacity Loss, Starter
Inoperative’.
Battery
When charging/discharging the battery
with external device, or starting the engine
with external power, or supplying power
to external device with the vehicle, the
negative cable must be connected to body
ground point rather than directly connected
to battery negative, otherwise it will result
in inaccurate calculation of battery power
and cause safety problems when starting the
engine automatically.
It is prohibited to remove the battery sensor
from the battery for several times, which will
result in inaccurate calculation of battery
power and cause safety problems when
starting the engine automatically, unless the
battery is to be replaced.
Failure to operate in accordance with the below
instructions will affect battery performance, and then
affect the Stop/Start intelligent fuel saving system.
1 For vehicles with intelligent stop/start fuel saving
system,
when the battery negative terminal is
reconnected, the battery needs to rest for at least
4 hours, and before this, the engine will lose the
automatic stop/start function.
2 If vehicle has run continuously for more than 100
hours, it shall be stationed for at least 4 hours to
resume the battery status signal to normal.
3 In the vehicle battery replacement, please use the
genuine accessories, otherwise the normal automatic
stop/start of the engine can no be guaranteed.
