Starting & Driving
• SCS no failure.
• EPB no failure and released.
• The gear lever in forward gear or reverse gear.
• The ignition is turned on.
• Enough force is applied to brake pedal.
If the driver release brake pedal on hill
,
HHC will maintain
pressure in the braking system for 1~2 seconds. the vehicle
will slip if not star in 1~2 seconds.
HHC cannot overcome the physical limitation. DO NOT
take risk even if the vehicle is fitted with HHC.
Note: HHC is available whether driving forward or
backward on hill.
Auto Hold

When using “Auto Hold” to stop the vehicle,
vehicle stability cannot be guaranteed in
all conditions if the vehicle shifts to electric
parking brake due to some reasons (such as
shutdown, unfastened seat belt or pressed
Auto Hold switch). For example, the rear
wheels are on icy or wet and slippery road,
or the slope is large (for example,

20%).
Please make sure that the vehicle is stable
before leaving the vehicle.
Never take risky driving using the extra
convenient function provided by the Auto
Hold system – try to avoid accidents. Even
if the vehicle is equipped with Auto Hold
system, the driver shall also concentrate
on the surrounding conditions. Be sure to
adjust the speed and drive method according
to the visibility, weather, road and traffic
conditions.
