Starting & Driving
With the active speed limit system in standby status, press
the thumbwheel switch, and the active speed limit system
is activated when the following conditions are satisfied,
followed by corresponding information displayed on the
information center on the instrument:
1 When the current speed is less than or equal to the
input target speed;
2 The accelerator pedal is not depressed completely.
Suspend
When the following conditions occur, the active speed limit
function exits from activated status to standby status:
• The accelerator pedal is depressed all the way down;
• The resume/suspend switch is pressed.
Resume
After the active speed limit function is paused, if the active
speed limit system has not been shut down, press RES
switch (3 in figure) to reset the active speed limit function
to the activated status. At this time, the target speed of
active speed limit is that before exit.
Note:
• During driving, for safety reasons, do not switch
between kilometer and mile after the target speed
is input.
• The case may occur that the actual speed is
more than the target limit speed due to inertia,
road conditions, etc. (e.g. downhill), and at this
time, please control the vehicle speed based on
the related prompt messages displayed on the
instrument.
• After the key is removed, the target speed previously
stored will be erased. For driving economy and
safety reasons, it is recommended to select
different target speeds according to different road
conditions.
• Do not press a switch for a long time or press
multiple switches simultaneously, otherwise it may
lead to active speed limit system failure.
If this
condition occurs, please turn on the ignition switch
again.
