Starting & Driving
With the driver seat belt fastened and the engine operating,
press the Auto Hold
switch, and the Auto Hold function
will change from the shutdown state to the standby state.
Note: The Auto Hold function will turn off whenever
the seat belt is unfastened or the engine is shut down.
Turn on it manually next time.
When the brake pedal is depressed to a certain depth
and the vehicle is fully stable, the Auto Hold function will
change from the standby state to the parking state.
With the Auto Hold in parking state,
and the
corresponding forward or backward gear applied, depress
the accelerator pedal, the Auto Hold will release
automatically according to the slope.
When the Auto Hold is in parking state, in some conditions
(such as unfastened seat belt, shutdown, prolonged
parking, etc.), the vehicle will shift from Auto Hold to
electronic parking brake.
Note: With the brake depressed, when the Auto Hold
switch is pressed, the Auto Hold will turn off but will
not shift to the electronic parking brake.
Note: It is recommended to turn off the Auto Hold
function during reversing and reversing to garage.
Note: If the driver hopes to turn off the Auto Hold
function only in the current starting (for example,
during reversing) and wants to use this function in next
starting, press (release operation) the electric parking
