Avoid Driving at Maximum Speed
Fuel consumption, exhaust emissions and noise levels all
increase significantly at high speed.
Predictable Driving
Avoid traffic congestions and jams areas as much as
possible.
You must foresee jams as earlier as possible
and keep appropriate distance from other vehicles and
slowdown as soon as possible. Do not ride the brake
pedal, this can cause premature wear, overheating and
increased fuel consumption.
Switch Off the Engine When Waiting in Traffic
When it is obvious that the car will be stationary for several
minutes or more, and provided it is safe to do so, stop the
engine. The impact on the environment of allowing the
engine to idle for long time will be more than the effect of
starting the engine again.
Appropriate Use of the Auxiliary Electrical
Equipment
The auxiliary electrical equipment can make people
comfortable, but they can also increase fuel consumption
and environmental pollution.
