Move the gear lever in '+' direction to upshift an adjacent
higher gear, in '-' direction to downshift an adjacent
lower gear. On some models, the upshift and downshift
operations can also be controlled by shift paddle marked
'+' and '-' which fitted on the steering wheel.
In Tiptronic mode, if the shift point chosen by the driver
is not reasonable, such as upshift when the engine speed
is excessively low or downshift when the vehicle speed is
excessively high, the transmission will not respond. The
vehicle will remain its running at the former gear position.
When the vehicle is running at a gear position with the
engine speed lower than the limit, the transmission will
automatically downshift to an adjacent gear to prevent the
engine to stall; With vehicle acceleration, the engine speed
will continuously increase until it reaches the limitation, if
at this time there is no request for upshift, the transmission
will automatically upshift to an adjacent higher gear position
to protect the engine.
To return sport mode or another modes, please move the
gear lever to D position first.
