Command Line Interface
Overview
Overview
The Ruckus Wireless Command Line Interface (CLI) is a software tool that enables you to
configure and monitor supported Ruckus Wireless devices. Using the command line
interface, you can issue commands from an operating system prompt, such as the
Microsoft Windows command prompt (C:\) or a Apple MAC OSX terminal. Each command
performs a specific action for configuring device settings or returning information about
the status of a specific device feature.
This chapter is written for service operators and system administrators who are responsible
for managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Ruckus Wireless devices.
Consequently, it assumes a basic working knowledge of local area networks and switches.
NOTE:
Before attempting to access the switch via CLI, See
“Preparing your Computer for Switch Setup”
.
NOTE:
Please manually save any changes to the configuration settings so they are stored
in the switch’s non-volatile memory.
