Syslog Settings
System Admin > Tools > Syslog Settings
The Syslog Settings menu item adds, deletes, and displays logging status settings on the
system.
Logging Status Settings:

Logging Status:
Enables (default) or disables logging on the system.
Logging Server Settings:
■
Server IP:
Sets the server IP to log.
■
UDP Port:
Sets the UDP Port. Default 514.
■
Severity:
Sets the severity of the alert to log. May be emergencies, alerts, critical,
errors, warnings, notifications, informational, or debugging. Default Informational.
■
Facility:
Sets the server facility. May be local0, local1, local2, local3, local4, local5,
local6, or local7. Default Local0.
■
Description:
Sets the description to associate with the logging server settings.
Logging Server:
Displays a list of logging servers.
