VLANs > Protocol Vlan > Protocol Group

The Protocol Group menu item configures and displays protocol group VLANs.

VLAN Protocol Group Settings

Frame Type:

Sets the VLAN encap frame type. May be enet-v2, snap, or llc. Default

enet-v2.

■

Protocol Value:

Sets the protocol value. May be IP, novell, netbios, appletalk, or other

(user defined) <aa:aa>. Default IP.

■

Group ID:

Sets the protocol group ID. May be 0 to 2147483647.

VLAN Protocol Group Status:

Displays a list of VLAN protocol groups. This option also

allows you to delete group settings.
