Procedure for setting the Manipulated output value (MV) in Manual mode
When the controller is in Manual mode, the Manipulated output value (MV) can be manually set.
Setting procedure
1.
Make sure the Manual (MAN) mode lamp is lit.
2.
Go to the “Input 1_PV1/SV1 monitor” screen in the SV setting &
Monitor mode. Change the value by the UP and DOWN keys
and then press the SET key to store the new setting.
Manipulated output value (MV) under Manual control is changed by Event input
Any of the Event inputs (DI2 to DI4) enables the operation of Auto/Manual transfer, decrease/increase in
Manipulated output value (motor RPM) under Manual control and resetting (manipulated output value = 0 %).
The manipulation of these output values by the Event input is set by changing the
Event input logic selection
(P. 73)
of the Engineering mode. The relationship between the event input contact state and the operation state is
shown in the following.

1
Decreases Manipulated output value (motor RPM) under Manual control with contacts closed. (It takes about 25 seconds to 1000 digits.)
2
Increases Manipulated output value (motor RPM) under Manual control with contacts closed. (It takes about 25 seconds to 1000 digits.)
3
The Manipulated output value (motor RPM) is reset to 0 % based on the edge discrimination of “open” to “closed.”
In addition, switched to “Manual Control” regardless of Auto/Manual transfer setting.
When the Event input is used for the setting change and the contact is closed, it takes approx.
0.5 seconds until the new setting is taken by the controller.
