Enable Header Compression ← ROHC
Enables or disables ROHC. ROHC is only performed for dedicated bearers with bearer
profile "Voice" or "Video", not for data connections.
Remote command:
Profile ... ← ROHC
Enables up to two header compression profiles. If more than one enabled profile is
compatible to the used protocols, the most specific profile is used. If no profile is com-
patible, no compression is performed.
Example - profile 1 (IP/UDP/RTP) and 2 (IP/UDP) enabled:
●
IP/UDP/RTP traffic: profile 1 used
●
IP/UDP/SIP traffic: profile 2 used
●
IP/TDP/... traffic: no compression
Remote command:
PDCCH
This section displays information about the used PDCCH configuration:
●
#PDCCH Symbols:
Number of OFDM symbols used for the PDCCH per normal subframe. The value
depends on the channel bandwidth. For disabled "Reduced PDCCH" the values
are specified in 3GPP TS 36.521, table C.1-2.
●
Aggregation Levels:
For RMCs the PDCCH aggregation levels are selected according to 3GPP TS
36.521 Annex C.3 (with disabled "Reduced PDCCH"). For other scheduling types,
the used aggregation levels are maximized as far as possible.
There are three aggregation levels, for different types of messages: DCI messages
for DL with C-RNTI, DCI messages for UL with C-RNTI and DCI messages for DL
with SI-RNTI.
The aggregation levels are displayed as numbers of Control Channel Elements
(CCE), see 3GPP TS 36.211, section 6.8.1.
The PDCCH is configured automatically. You cannot configure the displayed values
directly. But you can enable "Reduced PDCCH" in order to reduce the resources used
for the PDCCH and increase the resources available for the PDSCH. Thus you can
influence the used coding rates and the PDSCH data rate.
With enabled "Reduced PDCCH" both the "#PDCCH Symbols" and the PDCCH aggre-
gation levels are reduced.
