13.5. Select Database Record
Parameter allowing you to set permissions levels enabling particular operators to select
given database entries. 'Select database record' parameter is available for the following
databases: products, packaging, customers, universal variables.
Procedure:

Enter
<Permissions/Select database record>
submenu.
•
Select respective database and set one of four options: None, Operator, Advanced
operator, Administrator.
Caution: When <None> option is set, all unlogged operators can select particular database
entries.
14.
ADJUSTMENT
In order to ensure the highest weighing accuracy, it is recommended to periodically introduce
a corrective factor of indications to balance memory, the said factor must be referred to a
reference mass.
Adjustment has to be carried out:

prior weighing,
-
if long breaks between successive measuring series occur,
-
if the weighing instrument temperature has changed by 3°C and more.
Types of adjustment:
- automatic internal adjustment,
- manual internal adjustment,
- adjustment performed using an external weight of declared mass, which mass cannot
be modified, or using an external weight of mass equal or greater than 30% of the
maximum range.
Caution:
In case of verified balances (with an internal automatic adjustment system) only two
adjustment types are available: automatic internal adjustment and manual internal
adjustment. Remember to carry out the adjustment process when there is no load on
the pan! When the weighing pan is loaded, command <RANGE EXCEEDED> is
displayed. In such case, unload the weighing pan and repeat the adjustment.
Adjustment process can be aborted if necessary, to do it press
key.
14.1. Internal Adjustment
Internal adjustment is carried out by means of an internal adjustment weight. <
> button,
when pressed, automatically triggers adjustment process. Upon adjustment process
completion respective message, informing about process end and about its status, is
displayed.
Caution: Adjustment procedure requires stable environmental conditions (no air drafts or
ground vibrations). The process must be carried out with an empty weighing pan.
