Defining Conferencing Services
The most important aspect of MCU-323 configuration is the definition of Conferencing
Services. You define these services in the
Services Definition Table . Services are the
mechanism that defines the qualities and capabilities of a conference. According to the
prefix dialed when establishing a conference, you can request a high quality, super quality,
continuous presence or other type of conference. You can use the predefined default
services provided, or define services by adding or editing them in the Services Definition
Table of the MCU–323.

When you access the Services Definition Table for the first time, a set of predefined
default services are displayed, as outlined in Table 6-1 . You can add, edit, or delete settings
in the Services Definition Table and save the settings to a file as described in Adding,
Editing, or Deleting Conferencing Services . Following is a description of each parameter
displayed in the Services Definition Table .
Number of Entries — A counter that displays the number of services currently defined in
the Services Definition Table.
Max Entries — Displays the total number of services you can define per MCU-323.
