Neighbor Gatekeepers

Prefix
— The prefix required, when it has been defined, to call an endpoint in a neighboring
gatekeeper zone (see
Services Definition
).
Distance
— A designation between 0 and 255 representing the logical distance from the
current Gatekeeper to the neighbor gatekeeper. For details on defining
Distance
parameters
see
Distance Settings
.
The buttons in the
Neighbor Gatekeepers Table
screen allow you to
Add
a new neighbor
definition,
Edit
or
Delete
a neighbor definition,
Save
and
Load
setting files.

To add a new Neighbor Gatekeeper to the Neighbor Gatekeepers Table
1.
From the
Neighbor Gatekeepers Table
screen, click
Add
. The
Neighbor GK
Parameters
screen is displayed.
2.
In the
Neighbor IP
field enter the IP address of the Neighbor Gatekeeper.
3.
In the
Neighbor Port
text box, specify the RAS port of the
Neighbor Gatekeeper
.
The default port for the built-in Gatekeeper is 1719.
