READ?
Initiates a measurement and returns the value.
READ?
Description:
Causes an INITiate:IMMediate action followed by a FETCh?
query. INITiate:IMMediate performs the data acquisition, while
FETCh? returns the measurement.
The measurement function must be selected using the
CONFigure:FUNCtion, SENSe:FUNCtion or
MEASure:FUNCtion? commands.
The number of measurements taken and returned depend on
the <array size> parameter specified in the last
CONFigure:ARRay or MEASure:ARRay commands. Only one
measurement is taken if the last CONFigure or MEASure
command specified a SCALar-type measurement.
Note that, in the case of ARRay-type measurement, the time-out
period (refer to SYSTem:TIMeout) may have to be increased.
