18.7 File: Load parameters / Save parameters
Current settings being displayed in the software can be stored into a parameter file and transferred
again into the equipment when necessary. Parameter files can be useful for example if several
equipments need to get the same settings or for a quick parameterization during sensor replacement.
File: Load Parameters
Parameters which have been stored into a file will be
loaded into the software.
NOTE:
Possible changes which have been made in
the software settings but not transferred to the sensor
will be overwritten.
File: Save Parameters
Parameters being displayed in the software will be
stored in a file.
In order to store the parameters running in a sensor,
you must first transfer them into the software, using
the
Transmit Parameter
function
(see 18.6).
18.8 Settings: Protocol file (data recording)
Under Settings you can modify settings for data recording of the operation
display.
Protocol file
: Define name and memory location for the log file. Log file has an excel compatible .csv
format.
Date / Time
: Each measured value can be stored in the log file with relevant time and/or date.
Separator
: Define whether tab stop or semicolon should be used to separate single measurement
data in the log file.
Mode
: You can decide here if you want to create a new fresh file when starting the operation display,
or if the measured values should be added to an existing file.
