18.2 Basic configuration
Factory default
In order to restore the factory settings on LMA/B, click
factory default
. All entered parameters will be
lost. Before doing this, you can save your settings in the
File
menu,
under
Save parameters
(see
18.77).
Analog Output QA active
In the box
Analog Output QA active
you can activate the transmission of distance value
corresponding to the analog output.
Analog Output

you determine the output range.
0 - 20 mA:
Output will supply 0
– 20 mA.

– 20 mA:
Output will supply 4
– 20 mA.
Offset
With the
Offset
setting you can shift the zero point for distance measurement to a certain point along
the measurement section. This can be of help for direct length measurement of target or when target
position changes.
Setting is in mm as decimal number between -
150000 … 150000 mm
Offset has a direct influence on the measurement value and therefore affects also all
parameters accessing the measurement value.
