[PVI-XXX.0-YY(-TL) - Rev:1.0]
The PVI-XXX.0(-TL) (Figure 4-1 and Figure
4-2) are devices designed exclusively for
converting solar energy into electricity
compatible with the grid of the country
where it is marketed. They are also
equipped with adequate electrical and
mechanical protection.
If the inverters are connected to
string combiners (AURORA PVI-
STRINGCOMB), they also allow the
monitoring
of
the
entire
photovoltaic field, via the following
inspections:
•
Reading the string currents (10
channels available)
•
Reading the total voltage of the field
•
Checking the functioning of the
inside fuses, to protect the
photovoltaic panels.
•
Other functions.
AURORA PVI-XXX.0(-TL) is a device that can
feed the electricity grid with energy from
the photovoltaic panels.
Chapter §3
When used in parallel with the grid, the
inverter alternating current output flows
through the insulation Transformer (where
required) in the industrial distribution
circuit, connected in turn to the public
distribution grid (Figure 4-3 and Figure 4-4).
For the connection to the MT
electrical grid described in Figure
4-4, for models “TL”, i.e. without
insulation Transformer, the use and
installation of a Transformer (by the
person who makes the plant) is
mandatory “dedicated” of MT/BT
type, based on the electrical
features of the used inverter model.
The
instructions
for
the
dimensioning
of
the
external
Transformer are indicated below.
•
MT side (medium voltage): reference
to grid features.
•
BT side (low voltage): reference to
output electrical features of the PVI-
XXX.0(-TL) device.
