17.4.
Upstream disconnection of the inverter
If it is necessary to move/remove or scrap the PVI-XXX.0(-TL), or in any case to completely insulate
it from the rest of the plant, it is absolutely mandatory to disconnect the device from both the DC
and AC sides, i.e. from the photovoltaic field and from the grid. To do this, it is necessary to
disconnect the DC input voltage and the output distribution lines connected to the AC clamps, and
the 3P+N auxiliary power.
This operation can be performer exclusively by acting on the switches located on the distribution
line and in the PV plant and not on behalf of the switches located on the inverter device.
At this point, if necessary
, the DC and AC cables can be physically disconnected from the inverter,
removing the necessary panelling.

17.5.
Removal and insertion of a 55kWp module
For
some
types
of
extraordinary
intervention it may be necessary to remove
a 55kWp module from its seat (for example,
in case of module breakdown).
17.5.1
Preliminary operations
A module weighs too much to be supported
by a person, therefore it is necessary to use
a mechanical aid to facilitate the withdrawal
operation and the further insertion (see the
figures below as an example).
1.
Follow the directions regarding the
disconnection of the AC and DC, and
then go to next step.
Chapter §
17
2.
Remove the convex panel on the front
of the module to be removed (Figure
5-1 -
C, Figure 5-2 – C, Figure 10-9 - F).
3.
Locate the module to withdraw and
remove the 4 blocking screws of the
55kWp module.
17.5.2
Removing the module
After having completed the previous
paragraph, follow the indications:
1.
Place the lifting trolley with the
platform or prongs in line with the base
of the module to be withdrawn.
NOTICE
DO NOT JERK!
2.
Pull the module approx. 15cm from the
framework and place the lifting trolley
with the platform or prongs under the
base of the module to be withdrawn.
