BEFORE USING THE SOFTWARE
The software produced for the PVI-XXX.0(-
TL) allows for setting the transmission
parameters (e.g. baud rate) and for control
(e.g. power limit) and for monitoring the
electrical dimensions (e.g. values of the
phase voltages).
To be able to communicate with PVI-
XXX.0(-TL), the computer used must
have a free COM serial port.
Since, as already described, the
serial transmission standard of the
PVI-XXX.0(-TL) is the RS485, while
the COM port of the computer is
used on the RS232 standard,
an
Aurora RS232/485 adapter must be
used
(Aurora 232/485 Converter).

NOTICE
Place the CD provided with the PVI-XXX.0(-TL) into the computer and
launch the “setup.exe” program, then follow the instructions on the
screen.
In conclusion, the icon “Aurora
CENTRAL CVI” will appear on
your Desktop

Aurora CENTRAL CVI

Future software versions could have a
different icon.
