RS485 SERIAL LINE
8.1.
Connection modalities of the RS485 line
The connection for communication with the
exterior of the PVI-XXX.0(-TL) occurs by
means of the RS485 data serial line. Up to
32 inverters can be connected to the same
line.
The line termination (120 ohm) is
already
foreseen
inside
each
inverter.
NOTICE
The last PVI-XXX.0(-TL) of the chain must
have the line termination enabled (Figure
8-1, Figure 8-2, Figure 8-3 and Figure 8-4),
while the others must have it disabled.

fundamental for the operation of
the system. This is necessary only for
functional
verification
during
installation and system monitoring
from a PC.
