For the “advanced” mode it is
necessary to insert the password
“aurora”. In "standard" mode, some
menus will be disabled.
Based on the choice done before, the

Set the limit of the address on (Max
RS485 Address): in this way the
program, in order to reduce time, will
scan to find all the modules within a
limited number of addresses.
Click on the button [
Start Scan
]: the
system will search for all the connected
and functioning modules.
The window shows a summary table
relative to all models found. The
parameters indicated are the following:
RS485 Addr
.: Address assigned on
RS485.
M/S
: M=Master, S=Slave
SN
: Series number of the Module
PN
: Module code
Rack SN
: Series number of the Rack to
which it belongs
Rack PN
: Code of the Rack to which it
belongs
Rack No.
: ID number of the Rack
S.Box Manager
: Indicates whether the
module is used for management of
data with the boxes of the AURORA
PVI-
STRINGCOMB(-S) string.
By pressing the corresponding [
