3 Connect the composite video output and
the stereo analog audio outputs

BD/DVD player to the BD/DVD inputs on this
receiver.
Use a standa r d RCA video cable

analog out p uts, see Connecting the

to connect it.
4 Connect the analog audio outputs from
your TV to the TV/SAT inputs on this receiver.
This will allow you to p lay the sound f r om the
TV’s built-in tune r . Use a ste r eo RCA p hono
cable to do this.
• If you r TV has a built-in digital decode r , you
can also connect an o p tical digital audio
out p ut f r om you r TV to the
DIGITAL OPTICAL
IN 2 (AUX)
in p ut on this r eceive r . Use an
o p tical cable fo r the connection.

Connecting the multichannel analog outputs
Fo r DVD Audio and SACD p layback, you r BD/DVD p laye r may have 5.1 channel analog out p uts. In this
case, you can connect them to the multichannel analog out p uts to the multichannel in p uts of this
r eceive r as shown below.
