How to connect the diagnostic tool

Operation 17-7

1  Set the ignition switch to the ‘OFF’ position.

2  Connect the diagnostic tool to one end of the wiring loom supplied with the tool, then connect the other end 
of the wiring loom to the diagnostic connector on the application.

Note: The display of the tool should be illuminated as soon as the tool is connected to the application.

The following information will appear.

3  Set the ignition switch to the “ON” position, but do not start the engine.
