page 48)
[Display Type]
Enables you to select the device type that is connected to the output terminal of the device.
You can adjust edge blending only if the output device selected is a [Projector].
[HDCP Active]
Indicates whether you can send HDCP contents between the device and a connected device.
[HDCP Downstream]
Enables you to always allow HDCP content output.
[Output Type]
Selects the signal to output.
[HDMI Found]
When the output destination device is DVI-D or HDMI, this becomes [Found]. In all other cases, this
shows [Not_Found].
4) Click the [Take All] button.
f
The set details will be sent to the device.
Note
f
Outputs on the same output terminal cannot be used on different layouts. It is recommended to set all unused outputs to [None].
Naming the output
It is recommended to set a name for the output device to make operation easier. Use single-byte alphabets, numeric digits, and underbars (_)
for a name. Up to 19 characters can be entered. Use the alphabets for the first character.
A name related to a slot in the device is preset.
[Genlock]
Each output will normally free run at the chosen output resolution. In many situations, you may want to have these outputs co-timed. The
device therefore permits an output to be locked to an input of the same resolution.
There are the [Genlock] button and [Genlock] source selection for each output. The source selection is usually set to [NULL].
1) Click the [Outputs] button on the [Settings] page.
2) Select the output source to be used from the output device list.
3) Click the setting field of [Genlock Source] and select the source to synchronize.
f
When [Genlock] is enabled, [Locked] will be displayed.
f
A confirmation screen will appear when there is not valid signal input or when the input resolution does not match the output resolution.
If you select [Yes], the output resolution in the device will change to match [Genlock Source].
HDCP
The DVI inputs and outputs are fully compliant with HDCP. This however can cause serious operational issues.
On each DVI input, you can disable HDCP communications with the source. This is strongly recommended to be used when connecting to
a computer that has HDCP capability but will not be playing out protected material. Otherwise the channel will become encrypted and limit
system functionality.
In [Outputs], you can set [HDCP Downstream] to [HoldOn], [KeepOff], or [Follow Sources]. [KeepOff] disables HDCP key transfers, and is
recommended when using an HDCP non-compliant device. When using compliant monitors and projectors, set this to [HoldOn]. If [Follow
Sources] is set, the setting will be automatically adjusted according to the HDCP status of the input signal.
