Preparing the control computer
There are two ways to connect the device to the control computer of the device: LAN connection and serial connection.

LAN connection
Connect the device to the control computer using a LAN cable.
1) Connect the control computer.

When connecting the device to the control computer using a LAN cable, use a crossover cable. When using network devices, such as
a hub, use straight-through cables.
2) Configure the network settings of the control computer.

Match the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway with that of the environment you are using.
For details, please ask your network administrator.

If “Use automatic configuration script” is checked in your web browser’s settings, uncheck it.

If “Use a Proxy Server for your LAN” is checked in your web browser’s settings, uncheck it or alternatively, set the IP address of the
projector to “Exceptions” in the proxy detailed settings.

Serial (RS-232C) connection
Connect the device to the control computer using a serial cable.
1) Connect the control computer.

Connect the device to the control computer using an RS-232C-compliant straight-through cable.
2) Configure the control computer’s communication settings.

The IP address of the <LAN> terminal on the CPU board section of the device is set to (192.168.0.10) by default.
To use the device with LAN connection, use a serial cable to connect the device to the control computer, and then make necessary settings
for LAN connection from [Ethernet] on the [Settings] page. Ask your network administrator about the IP address, subnet mask, and default
gateway to be set to the device.
When the device is connected to the control computer using the LAN cable, the [Ethernet] setting on the [Settings] page cannot be changed.
Starting the control software
1) Turn on the device.

Wait until the power indicator <BUSY (R)/ON (G)> lights in green.
2) Double-click the shortcut on your desktop.

When the control software starts, a login screen will be displayed.

The administrative rights are required to start the control software. Use the administrator account to log onto Windows.
