If the S-wave Sensor

You cannot use this system in an apartment building with no emergency earthquake alert (prediction) system is installed. 

  If the earthquake sensor of the elevator is not linked with the emergency earth quake alert (prediction) system, 
  the elevator stop indicator and the message do not appear. 

● 

Use the system after confirming that each device is properly installed. 

When expected earthquakes are intensity 3 or 
smaller, they are not displayed.

If an emergency earthquake alert (prediction) is 
received, the earthquake intensity and excepted 
time are displayed as earthquake information. The 
message volume can be adjusted. (     Page 54)

It is possible to play the earthquake alert message from 
the handset of the door phone. (Consult with the company 
that installed the system or the administrating company.)

If the S-wave sensor that can directly detect quakes 
(manufactured by another company) is connected to the system 
of your apartment building, quakes can be detected 
independent from the emergency earthquake alert (prediction).

The following display does not appear if 
the S-wave sensor is not installed. Ask 
the administrating company whether or 
not it is connected.

The alert detected by the S-wave sensor has 
higher priority than the emergency earthquake 
alert (prediction).
