During a power outage, the base unit will activate the detector into the monitor mode with the
emergency power source, and issue fire alarms or fire detector fault alarms.
The fire alarm will just flash the fire lamp and issue an alarm message and nothing will appear on
the screen.
During a fire detector fault alarm, the alarm indicator of the door phone will flash.
No other functions operate during a power outage. (Recorded videos or sound data or the details
of the user settings will not be deleted.)

Direct sunlight or intensive lighting on the door phone with camera causes white
vertical lines on the screen of the base unit, making images whitish (the figure on
the right), or causes reflections of the sunlight, but it is not a failure. In addition, if
the person shown on the screen stands with his/her back to the sun, intensive
lighting, or a white wall, the image may become whitish or the face may become
too dark to recognize. Change the installation site of the door phone with camera
if it causes trouble during use.

When showing stripes or fine patterns, a contour different from the actual person
or background, or colors different from the actual colors may be shown on the
screen, but it is not a failure.
●
High sensitivity processing is performed when showing a dark screen to make the center portion of the
monitor screen bright and make the image easy to see. In that case, black dots (noise) like a frame may
appear in the range where high sensitivity processing is not performed, but it is not a failure.
●
Do not subject the screen to high impact or vibration because it may break the liquid crystal or
cause failure.
●
Liquid crystal used for the liquid crystal screen may have
dead or stuck pixels, but it is not a failure.
●
If there is a high-power wireless station or something highly
magnetic nearby, the items listed on the right may occur, but
it is not a failure.
●
The screen may become hard to see momentarily when switching screens, but it is not a failure.

It may not operate properly in the environments listed below.
●
Plants or moving objects are included in the background.
●
Shapes that look like a face are included. (such as a poster of a person)
●
The whole or part of the face is blocked by obstructions.
●
Extremely low or high luminance of the surrounding area.
●
More than one person is to be captured at the same time.
●
The person is too close or too far from the camera.
●
The person is not facing the camera.
When a gas alarm or smoke detector is installed and you use a pesticide (including smoking
pesticides and thermal transpiration pesticides), cover the alarm and detector with plastic bags etc.
before the use of pesticide to prevent their possible false operation. Ventilate after use and make
sure the cover is removed.

This product does not have a built-in reserve power source (battery) and does not therefore,
operate in power outages. (Recorded videos or sound data or the details of the user settings will
not be deleted.)
