Performing the Gaze test

1. To start the test select 

Measurement > Gaze

 or double-click in the grid.

2. The measurement window appears in standby mode. Click 

Start

 to start record-

ing. 

3. During recording instruct the patient as described in patient instructions.

Gaze test score

Gaze

The diagram displayed is the Stoll type showing the result of the automatic analysis. 
The relative position of the eye is determined. Nystagmus beats of the same position 
are grouped and assessed for their velocity, direction and frequency.

The arrows in the diagram show the direction (points in direction based on patient 
looking at tester) and intensity (based on thickness of arrow) of the nystagmus.

A circle indicates no nystagmus detected.

Values

A table below the grid displays measurement values for each gaze direction. The score 
displays the following measurements of gaze:
