The
Clinics
window displays an area for documenting clinical information and
results (ear sketch, Romberg, Unterberger, Star Gait)
Sketch of Findings
With the mouse use the sketching tools to document any abnormalities of the pinna
or tympanic membrane.
Romberg
Instruct the patient to stand with his/her arms in front and parallel to the ground
(palms up or down) and eyes closed, and then turn his/her head to one side at a time.
Positive Romberg is indicated when the patient sways backwards with head turned
toward the affected side.
Sketching tool Function
Arrow
When selected, click near the area of interest on the
sketch and drag to create a line pointing to the area.
Text can be added to the caption window that appears
once the mouse button is released.
Paint brush
When selected, click on the area of interest on the
sketch and drag to add a mark to the area.
Eraser
When selected, click the Eraser tool to remove drawn
objects. The objects are removed according to which
tool was selected prior to clicking the eraser tool and in
the reverse order in which the objects were added.
