Registering the Sensor Position (Set-
ting sensor screen)
Before using a Main Unit, it is necessary to register the position of each infrared thermal sensor in the
Main Unit.
The method of registering an infrared thermal sensor with the software tool is described below.
Perform position registration of each infrared thermal sensor according to the procedure below.
Note that if the sensor configuration has already been registered, and you want to suspend the mea-
surement by the Main Unit, turn ON the external trigger input before performing Step 1 below to sus-
pend measurement.

After selecting the Main Unit on the Device List of K6PM-TH screen, click the
Setting
Button.
The Setting K6PM-TH screen will be displayed.

Select the sensor number, and then click the
Details
Button. The following Setting sensor
screen will be displayed. Note that the corresponding selected infrared thermal sensor is auto-
matically set to the K6PM-TH sensor position adjustment mode (the main numeric display on
the front panel changes to "
adj
").

Thermal image setting
Each temperature of 1,024 pixels (32 × 32) is displayed by a color.
If you place the cursor on the thermal image, the temperature of the target
pixel will be displayed.

Measurement range
setting
Displays the photo image of the measurement location.

Color scale
The display color scale of temperature can be adjusted.
Adjust the color scale in accordance with the temperature difference.
Click the
Auto-range
Button to perform automatic adjustment.
D
Image rotation
Click
to rotate the thermal image in units of 90°.
The image is displayed rotated to the right by the specified angle. 0 to 270°
