Safety Precautions
The following notation is used in this manual to provide precautions required to ensure safe usage of
the K6PM-TH Thermal Condition Monitoring Device.
The safety precautions that are provided are extremely important to safety. Always read and heed the

erty damage.

tric shock, as the result of disassembly.

Indicates non-specific general cautions, warnings, and dangers.
WARNING
The temperature may not be measured correctly. Do not use the product at locations where dust
or oil content may settle on the lens. Also, do not directly touch the lens when installing the sen-
sor.
If the product fails, monitoring and alarm outputs may fail to operate. This may result in physical
damage to the facilities, equipment, or other devices that are connected to it. To reduce this risk,
inspect the product regularly. To make the product fail-safe, take alternative safety measures,
such as the installation of monitoring devices on a separate circuit.
