K.2 Capturing images/sequences from the current input
The steps by which one or more frames of the current input may be captured are as follows:
Step 1: Feed the required input to the Analyser:
1.
Feed the required input signal into the appropriate port (or ports) on the
Ultra
.
2.
Show the Connections window.
3.
Link the port(s) you are using to the
Analyser/Converter block
shown in the middle section
of the Connections window.
Step 2: Display Picture View:
1.
Plug an HDMI monitor into the HDMI Output port on the
Ultra
.
2.
On the Connections window, direct the output from the
Analyser/Converter block
to the
Local User Interface block
, then link the output from the
Local User Interface block
to the
HDMI Output
. The
Ultra
’s User Interface should now be shown on the HDMI monitor.
3.
Show the Viewer window on the HDMI monitor.
4.
Click on the down-arrow in the Title Bar of one of the tiles.
5.
Select
Picture
from the menu that is displayed.
Step 3: Set the number of frames to capture:
1.
Select the Picture View.
2.
In the right-hand panel, set the
Capture
option to select the number of frames you want to
capture.
Step 4: Capture images:
At the point in the input that you want start the capture, select
Capture
from the Button Bar.
The specified number of frames are then captured (or as many of these frames as there is
memory available to hold these). An entry for the captured frames is then added to the
Ultra
’s
Capture List and the Picture display is automatically switched to show this list.
Captures that you don’t want to save can be deleted from the Capture List using the
Delete
option
offered on the Button Bar.
