: The Viewer Window
H.1 Overview
The Viewer window is used to display the results of data analysis tools applied by the
Ultra
to the
currently selected SDI input(s). The different analyses may be shown either individually or as a
quad split.

The range of analyses that may be viewed depends on the options purchased but may include:
Pixel data
Gamut charts
Status information
Eye and Jitter diagrams
Reference Timing measurements
This section looks at the overall features of the Viewer window. The displays associated with the
different analysis tools that may be applied are described in a separate sections.
Note:
The Viewer window only displays meaningful information on a system such as the
Ultra
4K Tool Box
or the
4K Analyser
that includes the ANALYSE option.
Definitions
The main part of the Viewer window is divided into ‘Tiles’, each showing a particular aspect of
the video under test. The displays that can appear on the Viewer window’s Tiles are referred to as
‘Views’. Each View comprises the results from one analysis tool and may include pictures, meters,
traces, etc.
