The properties of the Cable View are essentially the same as those of the Data Viewer described
above. The Cable View also offers the same choices on its Button Bar as are offered by the Data
Viewer.
To display the Cable View:
1. Show the Viewer window.
2. Click on the down-arrow in the Title Bar of the tile that you want to replace.
3. Select Cable Viewer from the menu that is displayed.
To go to the Start (SAV) or the End (EAV) of the Active Video :

Click the button on the Button Bar marked with the required location.
To see the data associated with other parts of the current image :
 Use the techniques described in Section I.1 to move to the required position.
To set the data format:

Click the Format button on the Button Bar until the required data format is selected.
Clicking this option cycles through the three possible settings
I.4 Ancillary Data Viewer
The Ancillary Data Viewer is another of the views that can be called up on the Viewer window,
and it can be used in conjunction with the Data View and Cable View displays to provide the
interpretation of ANC packets included within the video being analysed.
When the SMPTE Sample cursor is on an ANC packet in any of the contributory Inputs, the
Ancillary Data Viewer window will show the information it is able to extract from this packet.
A example of the Ancillary Data Viewer display is shown below.
