4.2.2 Replacing the transfer roller
A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Transfer roller: Every 100,000 counts (2 pages/job)
B. Removal procedure
1. Open the right door.
2. Push two levers [1] inside to unlock
the transfer roller.
3. Rotate the transfer roller [2] in the
direction of the arrow.
4. Remove the transfer roller [1].
5. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.
6. From the Menu, select [SERVICE MODE]
o
[ADJUST]
o
[SUPPLIES REPLACE]
o
[TRANSFER ROLLER] and execute this function to reset the transfer roller counter
value.

7. From the Menu, select [PS/PCL PRINT]

[QUALITY MENU]
o
[CARIBRATION]
o
[TONE CALIBRATION] and execute this function.
