25:INSTANT DIALLING:
Set this function to start reading documents
upon call origination when transmitting to a single location. Available
settings are ON and OFF.
26:RESTRICT ACCESS:
Select whether or not you want restricted
access. Turning on this function renders your restricted ID registration
active. For further details, refer to “Restricted Access” in this Chapter.
Available settings are ON and OFF.
27:WIDTH REDUCTION:
Turning this function ON enables you to
print received data at a slightly reduced width. Available settings are ON
and OFF.
28:TONER SAVE:
This function allows you to select whether to use
toner saving during facsimile printing, when the remote sending fax
machine has selected Fine or Extra Fine resolution. Available settings are
ON and OFF.
29:CNG COUNT:
This function allows you to switch to a fax reception
mode at a certain CNG signal quantity (1-5) when the unit is operating in
FAX, TAD or TEL/FAX modes.
Note:
CNG Count is not available when the ISDN G4 option is
installed.
30:ISDN DIAL MODE:
When the ISDN option is installed, this function
is to be used to set the standard communications method when dialling is
carried out from the keypad. See Appendix B for further details. Available
settings are G3 and G4.
31:SPEECH RECEIVE:
When the ISDN option is installed, this
function is to be used to enable or disable the reception of analogue
communications from the telephone network. See Appendix B for further
details. Available settings are ON an OFF.
Changing the user function settings
1.
Press the SELECT FUNCTION key.
2.
Press the 9/USER PROG. One Touch key.
3.
Press the YES key. The display will prompt you to enter a function
number.
4.
Using the numeric keypad, enter the 2-digit number of the function
you want to change. This display then shows the name of the
selected function.
