Chapter 4 - Basic Operations
49
When you change the reception mode of your fax machine, any non-
confidential fax messages stored in memory are automatically printed.
If you want to print any fax messages stored in memory without changing
the reception mode, carry out the following:
1.
Press the SELECT FUNCTION key.
2.
Press the 2/PRINT OPERATION One Touch key. The display will
prompt you to print memory message.
3.
Press the YES key. The stored message begins printing.
Note:
If a memory reception password has been set, you will have to
enter this password to print any messages stored in memory.
See “Memory Password programming” in “Programming”.
4.
When all messages have been printed, your fax machine
automatically returns to memory reception mode.
Paper out message
When your fax machine has run out of paper, a message appears on the
display informing you of this and that messages are in memory. Your fax
machine continues to receive faxes into memory when it has run out of
paper. Your fax machine automatically prints out any messages received
in memory when the paper is replaced.
Low toner message
When your fax machine is running low on toner, a message appears on the
display informing you of this. Rather than risk printing an unreadable
message, your fax machine can be set by the supplier to automatically
receive faxes into memory. The default setting not to receive faxes into
memory when toner is running low allows time for you to change the toner
cartridge. See “No Toner Mem. RX” in “Programming”.
If your fax machine has received a message in memory because toner is
low, the display will indicate that a message is in memory. To print out a
message stored in memory when toner is running low, replace the toner
cartridge or follow the instructions below.
1.
Press the SELECT FUNCTION key.
2.
Press the 2/PRINT OPERATION One-Touch key. The display will
prompt you to print memory message.
3.
Press the YES key.
