Press the YES key. The display will prompt you to enter a function
number.

Using the numeric keypad, enter 08. The display confirms that
closed network is available, and the current setting of this function.

Press the NO key until the setting you want appears in the display.

Press the YES key to confirm the new setting then press the
SELECT FUNCTION key to finish.
Power failures and memory
Although the memory is backed up by battery (about 20 hours when the
battery has been fully charged and the temperatures are normal), the
following problems occur when power is cut off for lengthy periods of
time.
•
Any messages your fax machine has scanned into memory, but not
yet transmitted, are lost.
•
Any messages your fax machine has received into memory, but not
yet printed, are lost.
•
If you have loaded documents onto the document feeder of your fax
machine, any dialling or transmission settings are lost.
Your fax machine prints a power outage report to inform you of a power
failure. Use this report to determine which received messages you may
have lost and which transmissions you may have to resend. Refer to
Reports for more information.
Making copies
Your fax machine can also be used to make copies. You can make up to
99 copies at one time. Your fax machine automatically makes all copies
in FINE mode. STD, EX.FINE and PHOTO mode can be selected
manually by pressing the YES key.

Load your documents.
2.
Press the COPY key. The display will prompt you to enter the
number of copies you need. If you want to make just one copy, you
are finished. Your fax machine waits a moment, then begins
copying.
