The display will briefly indicate a fax number and location ID, or a
previously-programmed fax number and location.

Enter the fax number. Refer to the instructions below.

Press the START key.

Enter the Location ID. This is a descriptive title up to 15 characters
long. Refer to the instructions below.
9.
Press the START key. The display prompts for selection of the G3
communication speed (default is 33,600bps).
10. Select with the NO key and then press the YES key.
Note:
If you experience problems communicating with a remote
location, try lowering the G3 communication speed. If this does
not help, turn on G3 echo protection.

SPACE One Touch key.
Enter hyphens
HYPHEN key (i.e. to wait for dial tone).
Enter pauses
PAUSE key (i.e., to wait for outside lines).
Add a switch from pulse to tone

available in all countries).
Move the cursor to make
corrections
YES and NO keys.
To Do This

Locate the character you want on the numeric keypad.
Press that key repeatedly until the character appears.
Enter a unique character
Press the 0/UNIQUE key repeatedly until the character
you want appears.
The following characters are available:
! # & ‘() * +, -. /:; =? · @ \ “_% ~ä ß ñ ö ü Æ Å Ø æ å ø.
Enter next character or
number
Press the NO key to move the cursor to the next position
for the next character or number.
Move the cursor to make
corrections
YES and NO keys.
