You can select from the following three types of stapling:

When you remove the copies from the bins, (Stapling Start/Stop) will become
dimmed and manual stapling will not be able to be performed.

Insert Stapling Function
This function enables you to staple documents that you insert into the first (top) sort
bin. Use it when you want to manually staple unstapled copies after removing them
from the bins.
You can select from the following two types of stapling:

Only the first (top) sort bin can be used for insert stapling.
