Auto Clear Function
If the copier is left untouched for approximately two minutes after a Copy job or a
key input, all specified settings are cleared and the standard copy settings are
restored.

You can set the Auto Clear Time from 1 to 9 minutes, in 1-minute increments. The default
setting is 2 minutes. (See “Changing the Auto Clear Time,” on p. 2-32.)

Paper Supply Indicator
The paper supply indicator shows the amount of paper remaining in the currently
selected drawer or paper deck (option).
There are four different indicators, as shown below.
This indicator shows the remaining amount of paper in all drawers and the paper
deck (option) during paper selection (see Chapter 1, “Basic Copying,” in the
Copying Guide) or when paper in one feeding location has run out during a Copy
job.
Display Remaining paper in drawer Remaining paper in paper deck
Drawer is approximately 50% - 100% full. Paper deck is approximately 60% - 100% full.
Drawer is approximately 10% - 50% full. Paper deck is approximately 20% - 60% full.
Drawer is less than approximately 10%
full. Paper deck is less than approximately 20%
full.
Drawer is empty.
