Select a Safe Power Supply
■
Plug the copier into a 120 V AC outlet.
■
Make sure that the power supply for the copier is safe and has a steady
voltage.
■
Do not plug other electrical equipment into the outlet to which the copier is
connected.
■
Do not plug the copier into a multi-plug power strip. Doing so might cause
a fire.
■
The power cord may become damaged if it is often stepped on or if heavy
objects are placed on it. Continued use of a damaged power cord can lead
to an accident.
Provide Adequate Installation Space
■
Provide enough space on each side of the copier for unrestricted
operation.
