Open and close the front cover of the stapler sorter.

When closing the cover, be careful not to get your fingers caught.

Make sure that the front cover of the stapler sorter is closed properly.

Replacing the Staple Case
When the stapler runs out of staples, the (Load Staples) indicator lights and the
following message is displayed on the touch panel display.
Follow the procedure below to replace the staple case inside the staple cartridge:
IMPORTANT
.
•
Only replace staples when the
(Load Staples) indicator lights and the replace staple
message is displayed. Removing the staple cartridge at any other time may lead to a
malfunction.
NOTE
.
•
The <Load staples.> message appears only when copying with the Staple-sort function
specified.
•
The screen that appears differs depending on the options attached.
