Option
Description
Access to/from Remote Site
Select this check box if you want to configure connections
to other LAN sites (branch-to-branch access), so that users
at each site can share resources. For details on configuring
remote access options, refer to
Chapter 4, “Configuring
Remote Office Access
.”
Dial-in Access for Off-Site Users
Select this check box if you want to enable remote users
using a stand-alone workstation to dial in and access
resources on your network. For details on configuring dial-in
access options, refer to
Chapter 5, “Configuring Dial-In
User Access
.”
Share Netware (IPX) Resource
Select this check box if you use Novell servers on your
network and want to allow remote LANs or offices to share
those resources. IPX resources are configured as needed
for individual connection profiles.
Basic Internet Access
Select this check box if you want to configure basic Internet
access for all of your LAN users. For details on configuring
Internet access options, refer to
Chapter 6, “Configuring
Internet Access
.”
Internet Access with Advanced Configuration Select this check box if you want to configure advanced
options, for example, change the router’s private IP address
or assign a public IP address. For details on configuring
advanced options, refer to
Chapter 6, “Configuring Internet
Access
.”
