Installing TCP/IP on a Workstation
Depending on your existing configuration, you may have to install TCP/IP on
your IP workstations if it is not already installed. If you have trouble with the
following procedure, refer to your operating system documentation.
You may need your Microsoft® Windows 95®, Windows 98®, or Windows NT
®
CD to complete the installation.
To install TCP/IP on a workstation:
1.
From the Windows Start menu, choose Settings > Control Panel.
The Control Panel window opens.
2.
Double-click the Network icon

Note:
New Windows 98 workstation installations are already configured with
TCP/IP. They are also already configured to obtain an IP address automatically
(DHCP).
