Faults & Warnings 1
The Faults & Warnings 1 Screen allows the operator to determine the cause
of a fault or warning. Operators may be informed of the following faults and
warnings:
Dispense Motion Fault indicates there is a problem with the motion of
the metering rod during the dispense phase. Ensure the position sensor
is operating correctly. Also observe the function of the dispense valve
and affiliated components. Ensure there is adequate system air and
material pressure.
Emergency Stop indicates that the Emergency Stop button on the
control panel has been depressed. To reset the system, release the
Emergency Stop button and press the Reset Faults navigation button on
the Faults & Warnings 1 and 2 Screen.
Interlock Dispense indicates a fault with the safety interlock.
Material Temperature indicates that the material temperature is outside
the specified range.
Position Switch Stuck indicates the position switch is stuck and needs to
be serviced to continue production.
Purge Fault indicates that the purge timer has expired with no purge
shot taken.
Purge Warning is an indicator denoting the commencement of the purge
process.
Reload Motion Fault indicates there is a problem with the motion of the
metering rod during system reload. Ensure nothing is in the way of the
position sensor.
