SMP TABLE
NAME
Give an appropriate name to the sample. There is no limitation on the number of
characters used, but is limited when hard copies need to be printed. When the arrow on
the right side is clicked, special names and the names set in [Table]-[Registration sample
name] are displayed in the pull-down menu.
R.Blank (Reagent Blank)
When “Reagent Blank” is specified, the reagent blank value is automatically subtracted
from the measurement results of an unknown sample. When two or more values are
specified, their mean is used.
Travel Blank
A travel blank is the most effective when gas is specified as the type of sample. It
means data on a collection tube that has been transported to the field for sampling gas
but that has yet to be used. When “Travel Blank” is specified, the travel blank value is
automatically subtracted from the measurement result (mercury weight and
concentration) of an unknown sample. When two or more values are specified, their
mean is used.
CHECK STD (Standard Check)
This is used as a standard sample for checking the equipment.

DILUTION BLANK (Diluting solvent)
This can be selected when the sample type is specified as (diluted) liquid. When
“DILUTION BLANK” is specified, the diluting solvent value is automatically subtracted
from the measurement result of an unknown sample. When two or more values are
specified, their mean is used.
