6.  Maintenance 

  AUTOMATIC PETRO PYROLYSIS MERCURY ANALYZER – MERCURY/PE-1000

 Removing the joints, collection tube, and fluorescence cell 

(1)  Verify that the power has been turned off. 

Before starting ensure to let it cool down for approximately 30 minutes after 

turning off the power as it is very dangerous to work on during use. 

(2)  Open the front cover of the measuring section. 

(3)  Remove the jacket heater. 

 

(4) Loosen the joint connected to the sample injection section and the joint connected to 

the gas-liquid separating bottle, and remove them both. 

 

(5) Loosen the four screws fixing heaters H1, H2, and H3 in place.
